Dee Hoch – Fire Within Coaching LLC

Dee Hoch is the driving force behind Fire Within Coaching LLC. She has felt the weight of conforming to unrealistic expectations, unhealthy comparisons, juggling roles, and being burnt out with no light in sight. She uses her lived experience and the lessons she’s learned to educate leaders on creating psychologically safe environments and identify opportunities for improvement. She’s all about creating safe spaces at work where you can thrive.
Her goal is to swap out negativity with positivity so that everyone can be their authentic self–supported, encouraged, and safe because a satisfying career leads to a satisfying life.

“She’s just being grumpy!” this was what Dee would overhear while she was at work, about her.  What her co-workers didn’t know, was that, Dee was struggling with the pain from endometriosis.  She wrestled in her own mind about her behavior, how others felt about her, and the pain!

Dee struggled with endometriosis her whole life, even being told because of it she may not conceive.  Praise to God she was blessed with two children. Then she was faced with a big decision…was it worth it to stay in pain or have a full hysterectomy and give up her womanhood and the opportunity to have any more children? This would put her in medically induced menopause. After surgery, she continued to toil with the fact that others her age couldn’t relate to what she was going through with menopause symptoms and the emotions around the surgery. Listen in on how Dee has used her trauma for healing and holding space for others. She tries to be the person for others that she needed when she was going through this.
