As we age and our family ages, lots of times, mom and dad get stuck storing all the stuff from the school years. Ali encourages her clients to take pictures or have the kiddos come claim their stuff. She realizes it’s hard to get rid of keep sakes but who is looking at all those trophies from Little Johnny’s baseball years?
She also cautions clutter bugs not to start in emotionally charged items or rooms like memorabilia and bedrooms. Start in the kitchen…fewer items and easier to toss or donate items from your kitchen!
