In sickness or in health, anytime is a good time to health journal.  Shelley McLellan, with Aspen Care, is my guest and she explained all the benefits of health journaling.  She pointed out that when you are given a diagnosis, journaling is a great way to process your emotions.  It can also be a great way to jot down what a Dr. has said, results from an appointment, or even to record times medications that were taken as well as how they made the person feel.  It’s funny how 2 people can be present at the same dr. appointment and have two totally different takeaways!!  Shelley’s journal can keep all the facts straight.

You don’t always have to be sick to health journal.  Maybe you want to track a health journey or personal best times or benchmarks.  You may be exploring how food affects you.  Whatever the case may be Shelley has developed a very comprehensive health journal for these specific reasons.  Her work experience exposed the need for a journal to have all the notes from all the appointments and phone calls in one place.  Health journaling is for better or worse in sickness and in health.
